#2 Interculturality
Since the association’s creation, BILUTS has taken part in several intercultural events, primarily participating in SALTO seminars, through exchanges and initiatives within Youth and YIA programs, collaborated in High School studies on the subject of intercultural awareness and art, created an annual festival promoting different cultures through music, audiovisual and dramatic art. This has let to the establishment of monthly meetings uniting the culturally diverse group with the creation of culturally unique pieces using various themes.
Intercultural Events participation
- Creation of one FOOTBALL TEAM with 7 different nationaly players.
- Intercultural meetings in Bilbao. Organized by Biluts. Monthly from March 2007. Different themes, « Battle of percussion », « Audiovisual approach to the difference », «Image of the other - pictures », « The gastronomic difference ». Participants in these events originate from countries including: France, Portugal, Germany, Italy, Holland, United Kingdom, Guinea Bissau, Congo, Cameroon, Marruecos, Tunisia, Nigeria, Senegal, Brazil, Colombia and Basque Country.

- Participation in an investigation project, directed by Cristina Blanco of the Basque University, UPV-EHU, entitled "El asentamiento residencial de los immigrantes y su incidencia en los procesos de integración" 2006-7, regarding immigration and integration.
- Participation in intercultural meeting organized by "Jovenes del tercer mundo" in Salesianos School, Deusto - Bilbao, 11 may 2007.

- Participation in postgraduate Seminar entitled « Master in migrations » University of Basque Country UPV – EHV, May 2007, discussing the situation of identity in the new Europe, drawing upon our experience.
- Intercultural football 7 Championship - Bilbao.

- Interdisciplinary Festival "NO APTO PARA BLANCOS" with concerts, performances, audiovisual and creative pieces by urban artists of different origins and cultural backgrounds. Held twice a year in July and December. The last one took place on the 14th July 2007 in Sala Bilborock, Bilbao.

Network projects
- Action 1 - Youth Programme 2006. Exchange of 16 youths of various origins living in the Basque country and Paris, developed primarily in Paris, entitled "THE FLOW OF ORAL TRADITION", wherefrom their own mythological traditions a unique visual, physical and musical piece was created and performed by the young people themselves.
- Action 1.2 – YIA programme 2007. Initiative currently in progress; the production of a short film between the two countries (France and Spain) with solely the same intercultural theme uniting them, called “KAOS, reseau visuel”.
- Participation in SALTO SEMINAR: "EUROMED SEMINAR - HYDRA, GRECIA NOVEMBER 16 – 19, 2006" and with 35 participants from 17 countries of the Euromed zone.
- Participation in SALTO SEMINAR "Let's meet Our Neighbours and the World" - marly le-Roi junio 2007" with 141 participants from 37 countries.
- Action 3.1 – YIA programme 2007. « Discovering the polyphonic musics of Europe ». Exchange programme in Georgia. Representatives from Russia, France and Spain also present.
- Body in movement. Exchange about dances of different countries in collaboration with organizations from lebanon, Jordan, Argelia, Sweden, France and basque Country. Bilbao- January 2008
- Co-organizator of Seminar "Vol'n'action for inclusion" Brussels – Belgium, 27 november - 3 December 2007
- The Image of the other - Against Xenophobia. Photography. Exchange in Bilbao with organizations fromGreece, Egypt, Israel, Finland and Algeria. March 2008
